Besides viewing and printing 3D files you can measure 3D models and convert them to such formats as DWG, STL, JPG, OBJ, etc.
IGS Viewer has easy-to-use measuring tools: Distance, Polyline Length and Area. With their help, you can measure area, height between two parallel surfaces, the distance between two points, the length of an edge and radius of a circle or a circular arc. Then, the drawing with all measurements may be printed or saved as BMP format.
Also, it is possible to get properties of the measured object – overall dimensions, volume and center of mass. The panel Structure allows users to control the visibility of 3D models parts and convert separate ones as DWG or DXF.
IGS Viewer supports not only more than twenty popular 3D formats including IGES, STEP, SAT, OBJ, STL, but also 2D formats – DWG, DXF, HPGL, SVG, CGM and many others.
